On the 14th February 2010

Hi peeps!! and hello again. I was thinking, when it comes to celebrate sumthing in life (festive seasons or any other occasions) it's important for us to know the history behind the story (history story...hmmm...nice combination there). Hehehe...for me, I will digging the info on it than go simply celebrate it. When you do sumthing without knowing the reason, it just like you dig your own grave and bang your own head...well anyway, Have a Great Chinese New Year to all my Chinese frenzy and Happy Valentine's Day to all my frenzy where ever you are....

Chinese New Year or can be called as The Spring Festival and it is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. Also be called the 'Lunar New Year' by non-chinese. It ends on the 15th day and be called Lantern Festival. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast of families.

I've read a story on the Lagend of this festival; it starts when the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, "I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means to your worthy opponents?" So, swallow it did many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time. After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god. Now that Nian is gone and other beasts of prey are also scared into forests, Chinese begin to enjoy their peaceful life. Before the old man left, he had told Chinese people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each year's end to scare away Nian in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most (now I know why Chinese like Red). From that day, the tradition of observing the conquest of Nian is carried on from generation to generation. The term "Guo Nian", which may mean "Survive the Nian" becomes today "Celebrate the New Year" as the word "guo" in Chinese having both the meaning of "pass-over" and "observe". The custom of putting up red paper and firing fire-crakers to scare away Nian should it have a chance to run loose is still around. However, people today have long forgotten why they are doing all this, except that they feel the color and the sound add to the excitement of the celebration.

**********

February 14, the celebrating of love and affection between intimate companions. All around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones and this is all in the name of Valentine's Day. Another story and this story begins; Valentine was a patron saint and a priest during the 3rd century in Rome. And when Emperor Caludius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. St. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lover in secret. But when Valentin's action were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

The BreakDown

Being 'Wanted' is 'Stupidaz'

I was 'burnt' but never get 'killed'

My pride rebels at confusing and defeat. I feel that I might be able to think of my next step, and how I wish if I had more steps to follow. What is to be done? ... I knew that I was alone but I was not seeking any helps (because of this stubborness), and let me tell you that I only seeking time to think and make decision. And in this momentary pause (as I rename it), I grashed my thought, my mind and my heart. Well I got thru all that, but let me plunge again ... last time I feel something about reality but sadly it only my imagination, its playing round and round, all over again, like it will never stop, day-by-day, even time will never erased it. Now, I realize there is something wrong there, something is no good, and my imagination is just like a dream. I did 2 on that time without a hitch; Imagination & Dream.

So today, let me take my heart and continue my step, one by one but I walk on a straight road, like there is no turning back or looking back (it's not saying 'Bye-bye', coz I'm not going to die). Every steps in my life is just like endless chain (God holding the key and I just follow the direction, at the end of my step, there is a door, God will give me the key, and I just open it, and enter the room...the rest...I DON'T KNOW) method of talking will.

However, I know it's like a splendid aid to the injured mind broken down temporarily (the day I'm being pissed-off) through forgetfulness (or maybe forgiveness) and as such, it has been the means of resuscitating (like something that bringing back my soul that has been drowned in a mud or something...).
