Today, me and my frens went to Lambir Waterfall. It was a little nice trip. We having some little fun to release our stress from office life and our daily life. I've taken some few pictures on the place. Well, no need for me to put on detail of the trip coz pictures will explain everything.

I really-really love nature and enjoy it very much!!!

Miri - Bintang Mega Mall

Faces of new Bintang Mega Mall Miri. The extension of Bintang Mega Mall and all new multi storey car park. I really3 like this mall but I will not going there during weekend coz it's not easy to find parking space. The place is too crowded with people (included the Bruneian). Here you can find: Starbucks, Big Apple Donut, The Coffee Bean, Toys R Us, McDonald, KFC, Hush Puppies and so many more. A huge shopping mall in town!!!

(1506 - 1552)

Known as 'Apostel of the Far East', Francis Xavier was born in the family castle of Xavier, Kingdom of Navarre on 7 April 1506. Born to an aristoctratic family of Navarre, the youngest son of Juan de Jasso, privy counselor to King John III of Navarre and Maria de Azpilicueta y Xavier, sole heiress of two noble navarrese families. His father died when he was only 9 in 1515. Later, he went to Venice, Italy and there he was ordained to the priesthood on 24 June 1537.

After read some of the information on the net, I was so surprise that he has been to Malacca in October, 1545. He waiting for 3 months in vain for a ship to Macassar and he gave up the goal of his voyage and left Malacca on January 1, 1546.

He was beautified by Paul V on October 25, 1619 and was canonized by Gregory XV on March 12, 1622. He is a Catholic saint and as well as the patron saint of missionaries. His feast day is December 3.

Kuching Landmark - Interhill Place

I am not from Kuching area but what I know and I've searched some information on it, Kuching will have what I call it as an international shopping complex named Internill place, it is currently under construction and will be scheduled opening somewhere in early September 2009.

The shopping centre development is part of a mixed-use development with a business class hotel, Novotel - operated by international chain Novotel, owned by French hotel group Accor and it operates more than 400 business and resort hotel in 56 countries.

Interhill Place consists of close to 60 shops as well as 40 kiosks and push carts. There will be more than 610 car parking lots (2 storey car park) are provided for this shopping centre development. It has a nett floor area of 100,000 square-fit spread over 2 ground floors.

Once completed, it will become a very prominent landmark to Kuching and a new skyline to the golden triangle of the city centre.

And for those who are from Kuching, you should be proud for the 'active' development at your hometown.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Happy Father's Day

As usual, weekend - for me to do some baking. And think this is my first home-made chocolate chip cookies. Its jus a simple recipe.

Softened butter - Granulated sugar - Brown sugar - Eggs - Vanilla extract - Flour - Baking soda - Salt - Semisweet chocolate chips - Chopped nuts

Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in eggs; beating well. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt

Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, stirring until thoroughly combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts

Drop by teaspoonsfulls onto an ungreased baking tray/sheet (I forgot to buy baking sheet). Bake until cook

Tadaaaa!!! and cool slightly before store it in the container
