Good Friday and Easter Sunday

Good Friday

Good Friday is a religious holiday observed by Christian commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.

Easter Sunday

Easter is the central feast in the Christian liturgical year.  Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion  His resurrection is celebrated on Easter Day or Easter Sunday.  We as a Christian believe, Jesus came back to life or raised from the dead,

As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter.  Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Wishing all Christians a Blessed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.  May God bless all of us.  Amen.

Luv,

Adidas A Sponsor of The FIFA World Cup

hi peeps!! lasnite watching Argentina vs Germany, the German scors 4 goals, 2 by Klose and the other 2 by (wish I can remember their name)...hmmm...poor to Argentina and how I wish they will win the match coz I remember what did Diego Maradona told the press if they won the worldcup.  Poor thing and what more they can do...Germany more 'stylo' than them.

Well, forget about all those crap.  Did you really know who's sponsor the ball for 2010 Worldcup?  It's Adidas and did you know Adidas came from which country?  It's German...founder for Adidas Adolf Dassier, was born on Nov 3, 1900 in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria Germany, died Sept 6, 1978 in Herzogenaurach.  He was trained as a cobbler, he started to produce his own sports shoes in his mother's wash kitchen after his return from World War I.  His father, Christoph, who worked in a shoe factory, and the brothers Zehlein, who produced the handmade spikes for track shoes in their blacksmith's shop, supported Dasssler in starting his own business.

This is what I call 'The point' why they should win this World Cup

And this is: Good luck card signed by the Pope and have been handed to Germany's World cup squad to bring the real life hand of God to their matches.  The card - donated by Pope Benedict XVI's brother Georg Ratzinger, 86 - were handed to the team's physiotherapist Klaus Eder before the squad left for South Africa.  Berlin businessman Reinhard Kohler - who arranged the load - explained:  "I am a huge football fan and I hope that our team go all the way.  All of the cards are personally signed from Pope Benedict XVI.  "They are a treasure that you can't buy for any money.  They are direct fromt he Vatican and only for special events." - sources Austrian Times

29 June 2010 - Farewell to Corie

Friends. A simple word isn't it? It's uttered everyday to almost every person imaginable. Who are your friends? I used to think that friends were the people that you could laugh and talk to. Now I know that friends aren't that, they're the people that touch your hearts. You could spend hours with them doing nothing at all and it can be the best time of your life, just because it was with them. They're the people you can share your secrets with, cry with, laugh with, and just have fun with. They don't judge you or make you change. They accept you exactly as you are. They look at you and they see a great person, one they love spending time with. You all share something in common and are tied together by memories, tears, laughs, and smiles. You're tied together by love for the other. Friendship is the strangest but greatest thin in the world. I find my time with my friends, the best times of my life. My friends are my heart, my soul, my fun, my laughter, tears, love and my life.

When you are sad... I will get you drunk and help you plot revenge against the bastard who made you sad. When you are blue... I'll try to dislodge whatever is choking you. When you smile... I'll know you finally got some. When you are scared... I will tease you about it every chance I get. When you are worried... I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and anything else that comes to mind for you to quit whining. When you are confused... I will use little words to explain it to you - dumb ass. When you are sick... stay away from me until you're well again. I don't want what you've got. When you fall... I will try to keep from laughing. This is my oath I pledge till the end. Why you ask? ...

Because you are my BestFrenzy...

Apples and Wine

Hi peeps!! we meet again.  Just back from work, wat a very buzz office's life.  So many documentation to be completed as the due date is around the corner.  Huh!! tiring is the word for this month.  The accreditation for all the programmes will never come to the end as it was jus like 'to be continued'.

Lets us come to the point for today, I've received email from my fren.  When I read it and I was thinking 'How bout I just put it up in my blog?' hmmmm....it's about an apples and a wine.  Quite a very nice story to be told all over the 'world' and I've gathered sum pictures of it to make it more and more beautiful theme.

1st of all let us look at the pictures and then you will read the story at the end of the pictures.  Here we goes peeps...ooomyyy...apples is soooo delicious!!!

Women are like apples on trees.  The best ones are at the top of the tree.  Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.  Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.

The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing.  They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now men ... men are like a fine wine.  They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi peeps!  we meet again huh...hehehe.

Being a mummy is the best feeling I ever had.  Its amazing even word can't explain.  Only the feeling is there yet your heart is forever glowing everytime you see your child growin-up infront of you.  From the day you giving birth until the end of time, the feeling of love is always there.  Mother's love is the greatest that you can get.  It's so pure and sincere. To be the greatest mummy on earth is all I want to give to my child...

Bitter are the tears of a child:  Sweeten them
Deep are the thoughts of a child:  Quiet them
Sharp is the grief of a child:  Take it from them
Soft is the heart of a child:  Do not harden it

"At work, you think of the children you have left at home.  At home, you think of the work you've left unfinished.  Such a struggle is unleashed within yourself.  Your heart is rent"

"I love people.  I love my family, my children...but inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that's where you renew your springs that never dry up"

Happy Mommy's Day to all mothers out there!!

On the 14th February 2010

Hi peeps!! and hello again. I was thinking, when it comes to celebrate sumthing in life (festive seasons or any other occasions) it's important for us to know the history behind the story (history story...hmmm...nice combination there). Hehehe...for me, I will digging the info on it than go simply celebrate it. When you do sumthing without knowing the reason, it just like you dig your own grave and bang your own head...well anyway, Have a Great Chinese New Year to all my Chinese frenzy and Happy Valentine's Day to all my frenzy where ever you are....

Chinese New Year or can be called as The Spring Festival and it is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. Also be called the 'Lunar New Year' by non-chinese. It ends on the 15th day and be called Lantern Festival. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast of families.

I've read a story on the Lagend of this festival; it starts when the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, "I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means to your worthy opponents?" So, swallow it did many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time. After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god. Now that Nian is gone and other beasts of prey are also scared into forests, Chinese begin to enjoy their peaceful life. Before the old man left, he had told Chinese people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each year's end to scare away Nian in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most (now I know why Chinese like Red). From that day, the tradition of observing the conquest of Nian is carried on from generation to generation. The term "Guo Nian", which may mean "Survive the Nian" becomes today "Celebrate the New Year" as the word "guo" in Chinese having both the meaning of "pass-over" and "observe". The custom of putting up red paper and firing fire-crakers to scare away Nian should it have a chance to run loose is still around. However, people today have long forgotten why they are doing all this, except that they feel the color and the sound add to the excitement of the celebration.

February 14, the celebrating of love and affection between intimate companions. All around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones and this is all in the name of Valentine's Day. Another story and this story begins; Valentine was a patron saint and a priest during the 3rd century in Rome. And when Emperor Caludius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. St. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lover in secret. But when Valentin's action were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

Burnt Churches for 1Malaysia??

I am speechless and it make me wanna cry and scream as well as to see the hatred in some idiots!!! This happened yesterday in peninsular Malaysia, Church is a sacred place; where we pray for peace, love, forgiveness and hope, and 'meet' our God but suddenly it been burnt down by stupid mentalism people who know nothing about respect and love. If you people don't want us to use word 'Allah', just do it in peaceful way but don't attack our houses of worship and let God judge us (Christian). Pictures show 1 of 3 churches attacked in 'Allah' dispute:

Prophet Muhammad's Promise to Christians

The document is not a modern human rights treaty but even thought it was penned in 628 A.D. it clearly protects the right to property, freedom of religion, freedom of work, and security of the person, says Muqtedar Khan.

St. Catherine of Alexandria, by Duccio

Monastery of St. Catherine, Sinai

In 628 AD, a delegation from St. Catherine's Monastery came to Prophet Muhammed and requested his protection. He responded by granting them a charter of rights. St. Catherine's Monastery is located at the foot of Mt. Sinai and is the world's oldest monastery. It possesses a hug collection of Christian manuscripts, second only to the Vatican, and is a world heritage site. It also boasts the oldest collection of Christian icons. It is a treasure house of Christian history that has remained safe for 1400 years under Muslim protection.

The Promise to St. Catherine:

"This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.

Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by God! I hold out against anything that displeases them.

No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.

No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.

No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (Judgement Day)."

The first and the final sentence of the charter are critical. They make the promise eternal and universal. Muhammed asserts that Muslims are with Christians near and far straight away rejecting any future attempts to limit the promise to St. Catherine alone. By ordering Muslims to obey it until the Day of Judgement the charter again undermines any future attempts to revoke the privileges. These rights are inalienable. Muhammed declared Christians, all of them, as his allies and he equated ill treatment of Christians with violating God's covenant.

A remarkable aspect of the charter is that it imposes no conditions on Christians for enjoying its privileges. It is enough that they are Christians. They are not required to alter their beliefs, they do not have to make any payments and they do not have any obligations. This is a charter of rights witout any duties!

The document is not a modern human rights treaty but even thought it was penned in 628 A.D. it clearly protects the right to property, freedom of religion, freedom of work, and security of the person.

I know most readers, must be thinking so what? Well the answer is simple. Those who seek to foster discord among Muslims and Christians focus on issues that divide and emphasize areas of conflict. But when resources such as Muhammad's promise to Christians are invoked and highlighted it builds bridges. It inspires Muslims to rise above communal intolerance and engenders good will in Christians who might be nursing fear of Islam or Muslims.
